These analysis documents present the data entry and validation rules applying to:

• the passport and identity card number format.
• the national postal codes.

It specifies the data structure for each member states. The same validation rules apply to the Online Collection Software (OCS) and the Validation Tool for Statements of Support (VTECI).

OCS 1.5 includes a number of new rules as detailed in the documents in attachment. The previous publication of these rules is also available on Joinup.
