Pleio is the online collaboration platform started by the Civil Servant2.0 network in the Netherlands. Currently (october 2013) the platform has over 65.000 users and 78.000 unique vistors per month. Pleio is set up as a multi site platform offering enormous flexibility to its users.
Pleio is created with Elgg software wich is an opensource project: http://www.elgg.org
All modifications and extensions build for Pleio are also published under an opensource license or contributed upstream in to Elgg development and repository.
