Interoperability solutions for the education, culture and sport
Interoperability provides benefits in the education domain through:
- improved ability for schools and teachers to exchange information about students who move from one location or institution to another;
- educational resources customized to the student;
- increased access to data and advanced reporting that can help researchers as well as educational and governmental institutions evaluate the effectiveness of the educational system in ways that are not currently viable;
By utilizing interoperable systems to gather and analyze evidence on educational systems, it is possible to achieve a better understanding of how people learn, so that such systems can be improved accordingly.
Furthermore, interoperable solutions facilitate the access to a range of existing diverse digitised information related to museums, libraries, archives, cultural bodies and sport organisation, which thus gain wider visibility.
