Marian Grubben is responsible for the Unit for digitalisation of the Single Market at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Single Market, Enterprise and SMEs. She started her career at the Commission in external affairs, then moved on to EU accession negotiations, subsequently worked on telecoms legislation, on user-oriented assistance services for the Single Market, on the internal market information system and lately on the Single Digital Gateway. The gateway is an ambitious, wide-ranging, EU law based e-government project. It aims to ensure a fully user-centric and fully cross-border accessible offer of public information, assistance and procedural services across the EU.
