SIMS as part of the StatDCAT vocabulary

Published on: 31/10/2016 Discussion Archived

[Section 6.2.2] : It would be indeed very interesting to have the SIMS as part of the statDCAT vocabulary. Several vocabularies of interest to the different SIMS sections can be already identified:

  • VCARD, ORG and FOAF for S1
  • S2 : DCTERMS and PAV
  • S3 : DCTERMS, QB (SDMX-...), SKOS et XKOS
  • S4 : QB (SDMX-...)
  • S5 : QB (SDMX-...)
  • S6 : ?
  • S7 : ?
  • S8 : ?
  • S9 : QB (SDMX-DIMENSION)
  • S10 : QB, DQV, DQM, ?
  • S11 : DQV, DQM
  • S12 :QB (SDMX-...), DQV, DQM
  • S13 : QB (SDMX-...), DQV, DQM
  • S14 : QB (SDMX-...), DQV, DQM
  • S15 : QB (SDMX-...), DQV, DQM
  • S16 : QB (SDMX-...), DQV, DQM
  • S17 : PROV, QB (SDMX-...), DQV, DQM
  • S18 : PROV, QB (SDMX-...), DQV, DQM
  • S19 : RDFS

The reuse of existing RDF vocabularies is essential for enhancing the interlinkage of statistical data and metadata.
