The first video recordings of the SEMIC2022-conference, accompanied by a number of high-quality pictures, have been put online.

With a public of 373 participants in Brussels and 779 online viewers from 60 countries inside and outside the European Union, the first in person event of SEMIC in three years has been a large success. We would like to thank those involved in the organisation and those in the participation of SEMIC. You have made our last major event of the year unforgettable.

While a more detailed report on SEMIC2022 will be published later, you can already revisit several highlights with a few interesting recordings that have been put online on the Interoperable Europe Youtube Channel.

The first video includes the opening speeches of European Commissioner for Budget and Administration Johannes Hahn, and the advisor to the Czech Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalisation of the Czech Republic Ondrej Profant, followed by the outline of the day by General Directors of DG DIGIT (Veronica Gaffey) and the EU Publications Office (Hilde Hardeman). In addition, it contains the interoperability keynote on building trust across the public & private sector. This keynote was given by distinguished experts Klaus Ottradovetz (Atos) and David Scuderi (Amazon) and was moderated by Leontina Sandu, the DG DIGIT Head of Interoperability Unit.

The second video shows the session on interoperability challenges regarding personal data space implementations, while the third one contains the policy panel discussions on cross domain use cases and transversal tools. And last but not least, a fourth video shows the interesting series of novel pitches by young researchers organised by the Interoperable Europe Academy, followed by the conclusion of the event by DG DIGIT’s Director of “Digital Services Natalia Aristimuño Pérez.

We hope you enjoy watching the recordings!
