On Saturday 10 May, the EU institutions will open their doors for the EU Open Day, in celebration of Europe Day 2025. Europe Day remembers the Schuman Declaration, which brought forth European unity and cooperation 75 years ago. In 2025, Europe Day is celebrating 75 years of the Declaration which led to the creation of the European Union to promote peace, solidarity, and prosperity throughout Europe.
The EU Open Day invites you to come along to the EU institutions and meet experts face-to-face, learn about their work, and find out more about how the European Union is helping people's daily lives across Europe. Through interactive exhibitions, guided visits, and speaker presentations, it's a great opportunity to observe firsthand how the activities of the EU are making progress, stimulating innovation, and encouraging cooperation.
Be sure to come visit us in Village 3 at our booth, "Collaboration and Data Exchange – Enabling Better Cross-Border Services for EU Citizens". All day, we will be showing how cross-border collaboration and data interoperability are enhancing public services throughout the EU. Discover how seamless data transfer is accelerating digital services, making them safer and more available, whether you're working across frontiers, studying abroad, or accessing healthcare across Member States. Using multiple choice quizzes and interactive games, it's an exciting way to discover how EU action is creating a more united and more effective Europe!
