Hejsa!*  SEMIC 2025, Europe’s leading conference on semantic interoperability and digital government is heading to Copenhagen, Denmark.

Organised by the European Commission in collaboration with the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, SEMIC 2025 - ‘Interoperability for Impact’ will focus on the cross-border applications of the Interoperable Europe Act, showcasing its real-life effects in advancing the EU’s 2030 Digital Decade goals.

The conference kicks off with the pre-conference workshops on 25 November. They offer participants a deep dive into technical topics and practical discussions with policymakers, academics and industry representatives.

The main conference on 26 November will be the venue for high-level discussions in the field of semantics, interoperability and digital public administration.

SEMIC 2025 will also once again be a major opportunity for networking among experts and stakeholders. A new exhibition will be organised in which demonstrations and success stories on public sector interoperability will be presented by industry, academia and the non-profit sector.

Stay tuned for the opening of registration!

While places for both the main conference and the pre-conference workshops are free of charge, they will again be limited.

If you would like to attend SEMIC 2025 in person, booking your spot quickly after the announcement of the opening of registration will be required. Should you not manage to reserve your spot in time, both the pre-conference workshops and the main conference will be streamed online.

A true flagship event

Over the last few years, the SEMIC conference has gained increasing popularity and loyalty among its audience. The pre-conference workshops attracted more than 220 on-site attendees and at least 460 unique online viewers.
