Description
Ping (PreINGest) is the Sacer Conservation System module that manages the pre-acquisition phase of the storage process based on the OAIS standard. Receives as input from the Subject (s) containing
data and documents with agreed structure and formats and, through an ETL process of transformation, generate as outputs of the objects containing SIPs, which are then transferred to SACER.
Among the main functionalities that PING provides are administration to configure object types and transformations, pouring objects to be transformed and process monitoring.
