Google Action Comune di Merano

This project envisages the use of Google’s voice assistant for interaction with the data of the municipality of Merano. The choice has been passed on to Google as it provides the most comprehensive development environment and allows multiple languages to be managed simultaneously. The programming language used is PHP. The natural language recognition system, on the other hand, is operated by Google Dialogflow’s platform, which makes artificial intelligence algorithms intuitive accessible. MySQL has been chosen as a database for storing information as an opensource, simple source and is used by most online sites. The system therefore requires: registration (free) on the Actions Google and Dialogflow Google platform, a server for the PHP Webhook module and a MySQL database.
