Comby - Mitfahrbänke
Comby is a solution to organise co-driving for co-driving benches
Description
The Smart.Land.Regions research project funded by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) deals with digitalisation in rural areas. The aim is to improve the provision of services of general interest to the local population at the level of rural districts and to find transferable strategies and measures for this purpose.
In solution 4 on mobility, a software was developed to organise co-drivers that can start at existing passenger beds. The aim is to increase activity and take-over opportunities in these benches. Accompanying persons can enter on the web app the wish to take away from a berth to a specific destination, after which persons who agree to take away can see these take-away requests and the accompanying persons can take them with them. Travelling and travelling can chatt with each other to coordinate further. After a journey, the persons involved can be assessed.
The software consists of a [web app](https://gitlab.opencode.de/smarte.land.regionen/l4/comby-frontend) and an associated [backend](https://gitlab.opencode.de/smarte.land.regionen/l4/comby-backend) and requires the [SLR platform](s) for user management and authentication.
