Hi channel,
I'd be really interested to hear the thoughts of this group as to whether the latest reference framework and architecture for the European Digital Identity wallet reinforces and supports the work here at eIDAS bridge or not.
Seemingly, the framework has made no specific choice as to the envelope in which 'qualified attestations' are issued to the EUID wallet. It leaves it open to Member States, suggesting that W3C Verifiable Credentials could be one option. Do you think this is the case?
Similarly, there is little information about the 'registries of trusted sources', whether this could be a ledger (like EBSI) or something like did:web - or either.
Keen to have a discussion on this,
Alex
