This session discusses opportunities in using AI for interoperability purposes in the public sector, including tackling challenges related to transparency and the trustworthiness of AI systems. It adds a practical dimension to the high-level discussions, which took place earlier in the day by

(i) framing the state of the art;

(ii) highlighting dedicated case studies, and

(iii) debating solutions to ensure transparency and trustworthiness.
