In our organization we had the need to represent data typology within our semantic datasets. For the purpose we made joint use of dublin core metadata and the IANA classification. See:   http://dublincore.org/documents/2012/06/14/dcmi-terms/?v=terms#MediaType http://dublincore.org/documents/2012/06/14/dcmi-terms/?v=terms#FileFormat http://www.iana.org/assignments/media-types http://dublincore.org/documents/2012/06/14/dcmi-terms/?v=terms#terms-PhysicalMedium http://dublincore.org/documents/2012/06/14/dcmi-terms/?v=terms#PhysicalResource   In my opinion this can be reused for the scope of Input/Output without further effort and redundant classifications from the WG.

A number of test implementations of the CPSV will be run in the coming weeks and these will provide real examples of inputs and outputs that will be used in examples in the specification.
