Need to cite Person Class?

CPSV cited the Person class (from the Core Person Voc). Is it necessary? The (old) text for the Agent class says:

The Agent class is any resource that acts or has the power to act. In CPSV-AP, Person and Public Organization have been defined as sub-classes of the Agent class.

REMARK: In some countries’ legislation Person is a concept for anyone that can be legally represented and can thus be both a Natural Person and a Legal Person (organisation). In the context of CPSV-AP a Natural Person is described by using the Person class (see section 3.18), which is defined as part of the Core Person Vocabulary[1]. The Legal Person is described by using the Legal Entity class , which is defined as part of the Core Business Vocabulary[2].

is this necessary? If so, OK, but it seems simpler to me just have the Agent class, of which Public Organisation is a sub class (foom CPOV). Is there a need to talk about natural persons and legal entities?

My proposal is just to say:

"The Agent class is any resource that acts or has the power to act. This includes people, organizations and groups." The Public organization class, defined in the Core Public Organization Vocabulary, is a notable sub class of Agent."

And then delete references to Person and Legal Person.

Totally agree. The upper right extensions (from Agent onwards) are too much in this model. Use Agent as an abstract class defining either Person, Legal Person or Public Org. (and keep it as lean as possible).
