The European Land Information Service (EULIS) has launched a new website featuring innovative webtools for its services.
Among these tools are an interactive map indicating available data, a guided tour along a sample search path and a comparison chart as a synopsis of the participating countries' registries.
With its new website, EULIS invites new land registry organisations to join and to extend accessibility of European land registry data.
Its long term vision is to help create an environment to facilitate cross-border lending through direct access to property and land information across Europe.
EULIS is a SEMIC.EU partner project.
Aldo Laudi, SEMIC.EU Project officer, acknowledges its common terminology for land information as a "good practice example in the area of semantic interoperability".
