The international IFIP Electronic Government (EGOV) conference is the European core conference in the domain of ICT related to the public sector. It is organised by the IFIP Working Group 8.5 on information systems in the public sector. The conference displays innovations in e-government, e-governance and similar domains of study.
Since 2001, the EGOV conference has played a major role in research and development within the ICT industry. The IFIP EGOV conference is a reunion of leading researchers and professionals from across the globe and from a number of disciplines. The IFIP ePart and the IFIP EGOV conferences have attracted together an average of 150 participants per year and from across the world. Indeed, E-government research is key to government strategies and implementations, while e-government practice inspires e-government research. IFIP EGOV brings together the scientific research community in e‐government from all over the world. The conference provides a highly interactive and professional forum for exchanging research concepts, progress and results.
