In 2013, IFIP WG 8.5’s working conferences EGOV and ePart will be held at the University of Koblenz-Landau. The Faculty of Computer Science, and in particular the research group E-Government will be responsible for local arrangements of EGOV and ePart 2013. GI's working group on Informatics in jurisprudence and government is supporting the IFIP EGOV and ePart conferences.

To stimulate new research, the eighth PhD Colloquium will be held as well which is dedicated to learning and understanding from each other. It will host topical threads of both conferences.
