Jakub Klímek works in the area of Linked and Open data since 2013. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Charles University in 2013. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology, Czech Technical University in Prague.
Since 2015 he works as a Linked Open Data expert at the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, where he is in charge of the technical aspects of the Czech National Open Data Catalog and where he works on nation-wide data standards for Open Data and on education of local data publishers regarding quality of open data.
He participated in numerous European research projects producing tools and investigating processes for publishing and processing of Linked Data in various domains.
