The (possible) use of Blockchain technology: the Experience of Dutch Kadaster

Legal practitioner with a special interest for IT and international developments Jacques Vos (1975) is a legal practitioner with a special interest for IT and international developments. He holds a law degree (Notarial Law) from the University of Groningen (2001) and studied Law and IT at that same university (2010). He has been a Civil-Law Notary for five years and continued his professional carreer as Land Registrar in december 2005. Jacques is a member of the European Land Registry Association, has been a member of ELRA`s Crobeco-project team (2010-2015) and has been a Member of the Board of Directors of ELRA (2013-2015). Jacques has extensive experience and knowledge of the use of qualified electronic signatures, text recognition, standardising deeds by using XML-structures and is heavily involved in blockchain-based Land Registry discussions and pilot programs. He has delivered several (international) publications and presentations. |
