The upcoming international conference on “Smart and Sustainable Planning for Cities and Regions 2015” is organised by the Institute for Renewable Energy of the European Academy (EURAC), of Bolzano/Bozen with the support of the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP).

The conference focuses on innovative planning methodologies, tools and experiences which are aimed at supporting the transition of our cities and regions towards a more smart and sustainable dimension, approaching different scales, environments and perspectives.
Contributions ​from different research fields within urban and regional planning from the scientific as well as the professional community are welcome. Cooperation and demonstration projects are warmly invited to disseminate their innovative approaches, implemented activities and achieved results.
