The 'Flossie 2012' conference's target audience are 'women users, advocates and developers of free and open source software, digital arts, free culture and open data'.

The conference also welcomes students, researchers and writers, free and open source advocates, activists and campaigner, non-profits, community organisations, and women entrepreneurs and digital artists using this type of software.

The first day of this conference will be a mix of micro-talks with Birds of a Feather sessions to showcase, share and build on achievements. The second day's program is more structured, with workshops and discussions.
