Are you interested in learning how global open data practices are driving innovation, transparency, and enhancing public services outside Europe? Join our upcoming webinar, Beyond Europe: Global perspectives on open data excellence, and gain valuable insights into successful international open data initiatives. This webinar will take place on Friday, 20 September 2024, from 14:00 to 15:00 CEST.

During the webinar, you will hear from experts representing The Global Data Barometer and The World Bank. The webinar will cover topics such as the evolution of open data tools that investigate data policies and practices in governance, release, and use for the public good. These tools provide a unique global perspective on how countries manage data for societal benefit, addressing critical areas such as climate action, public finance, and health.

Additionally, the webinar will explore the World Bank’s open data products, including the Microdata Library, Poverty and Inequality Platform (PIP), SDG Atlas, Statistical Performance Indicators (SPI), and the Open Data Assessment Tool (ODAT).

After registering, you will receive an email containing the calendar invite and the ClickMeeting link. The session will be recorded and made available as part of the course ‘Measuring the impact of open data.’
