Maintenance to interrupt Join…

The services offered by the Joinup collaborative platform will be unavailable on Friday 9 March between 12 and 14 hrs. The site's software will be upgraded during that time.

Joinup is built on the Drupal open source content management system. Following its launch on 9 December, Joinup software engineers have been busy making and testing tweaks and adding functional improvements.

Tomorrow's update should 15 fix bugs and adds 18 improvements. For example, the new version will prevent the automatic sending of emails when a user makes changes in the mailing list forum. This avoids emails creating a loop. The new version will enable users to report emails sent by other users as spam, helping the Joinup administrators catch spammers that created accounts on this public system. The update will also fix an error that blocked the updating of Joinup's list of new projects hosted on the federated forges.
