Mykhailo Fedorov

At this high-level summit convening by the Lisbon Council, a Brussels-based think tank and policy network, leading figures – the ones driving change – throughout Europe’s fast evolving digital-government landscape will meet in person to exchange best practice and share ideas around the theme “What next for digital government?” In his first in-person, Brussels-based keynote, Mykhailo Fedorov, vice prime minister and minister of digital transformation of Ukraine, visits Brussels to deliver a masterclass on Diia, Ukraine’s cutting-edge digital platform. Johannes Hahn, European commissioner for budget and administration, joins Govtech4all on stage for a preview of the Interoperable Europe Act, the European Commission’s far-reaching proposal for deepening trans-national collaboration in the digital government field, and a Signing Ceremony to launch Govtech4all, a 13-country, three-year programme to build new models for crossborder digital government service delivery.

In the afternoon, local leaders from 26 leading European cities will exchange best practice and discuss the challenges ahead. The sessions will be informed by The Interoperability Imperative, a new policy brief, and the unveiling of The 2023 UserCentriCities Award given to the best digital public service by a local and European government.
