Each year, the European Union publishes a dedicated factsheet offering an overview of the progress made towards a digitally enabled public sector across the Union. They are produced under Interoperable Europe (DG DIGIT) and the Digital Decade Programme. This annual publication serves as a key reference point, capturing the state of play, developments, and trends shaping digital governance at the EU level. It reflects the EU’s commitment to supporting a seamless, inclusive, and secure digital environment for public administrations, while supporting Member States in their digital transformation journeys. The factsheet highlights strategic priorities, shared objectives, and collective efforts aimed at a more interoperable and citizen-centric digital public sector.
