The Hamburg WordCamp meeting is intended for users of this open source content management system, involved in development, marketing, design, journalism, blogging and many other disciplines. The meetings is meant to make users aware of more of the CMS' features and possibilities, to meet other users and developers, "to have fun, to network and more", the organisers write.

"The sessions will mainly be held in German. So if you’re not able to understand German, it’s maybe not the best WordCamp experience for you. We decided to choose German as the main language for the camp, because WordCamp Hamburg is a local event with focus on the German-speaking community."
