If you have full copyright on your software or if your program includes components that were licensed to you under permissive open source conditions the distribution licence can be freely selected:
Do you want to allow recipients (other people, from other organisations) to modify your software ?
-
Yes: (go to sub-questions)
- No: In such case you are outside the scope of open source distribution. It means that you consider your source code as your exclusive property. You can adopt any other licence or invent your own proprietary licence.
Please note that - even modified by the creation of a derivative - the source code of some specific components of your program (especially those licensed under LGPL or MPL) will stay distributed under their primary licence.
