On 2 January 2012, the Deputy Minister of Administrative Reform and eGovernment of Greece launched a public consultation to finalize the Framework for the provision of eGovernment services. The public consultation ends on Monday, January 23, 2012.
The public consultation should help refine and finish the content of the Framework by including input generated by participation, and accelerate implementation of provisions as defined by the Greek Law on eGovernment.
The main purpose of the Framework is to enhance cooperation and provide integrated electronic services for citizens, companies, and other stakeholders by making sure that the information systems are properly interoperable.
By using the Framework and the included rules, standards, specifications and procedures on all IT development and IT operation stages in eGovernment projects, the Minister wants to simplify the procedures, reduce the red tape and improve efficiency of communication.
