applet.jsp makes use of the sun deployment javascript code to assert that an appropriate version of sun's java plugin is installed.

If not appropriate plugin was found, the following message is shown:

"Diese Anwendung benötigt die Java Platform Version 1.6.0_04 oder höher." followed by a submit button "Java Platform 1.6.0_02 installieren".

Hence hitting the button always installs the latest JRE (currently 1.6.0_11) the message should be something like "Aktuelles Java Runtime Environment installieren".

BTW: I suggest to display a locale dependent javascript message. This should be no problem since the message is set within a JSP.
