Modules for Online Applications (MOA) are a set of software tools which provide implementation and integration support for the functions and procedures mandated by the Austrian e-Government strategy. The MOA-ID component within this project provided the support for identification and authentication of citizens in online procedures by using the Austrian E-ID.

MOA-ID 4.0.0 features the E-ID Proxy functionality to connect SAML1 applications to Austrian central E-ID system.
Updated Features. Service Providers or online applications that support SAML2 (PVP2 S-Profil) or OpenID Connect has to be directly connected Austrian central E-ID system.

  • Only support SAML1 as authentication protocol 
  • Add Proxy module to forward authentication requests to central E-ID system
  • Update configuration tool (remove parameters that not needed anymore)
  • Update of third-party libraries
