The eDelivery team released Domibus 5.1.8, the latest version of the European Commission’s sample Access Point software for secure, reliable data exchange based on the eDelivery AS4 profile.
This release brings a wide set of technical improvements and bug fixes, most notably enhancing the pull message handling that many users rely on in asynchronous communication scenarios.
Domibus 5.1.8 includes improvements to the reliability of the pull mechanism, further reinforcing its stability in asynchronous messaging scenarios.
Alongside pull-specific improvements, Domibus 5.1.8 addresses various stability and performance issues related to payload cleanup, logging consistency and plugin notifications, including both success and failure events. Security scanning and dependency updates have also been carried out, reinforcing Domibus' reliability.
Domibus 5.1.8 is backward-compatible with Domibus 5.1.7. We recommend upgrading (see instructions) to this version to ensure your Access Point runs smoothly and securely.

eDelivery Building Block
eDelivery is a Building Block provided by the European Commission, offering technical specifications, installable software and services for secure digital data exchange across a network of nodes.
Domibus is the sample software provided by the European Commission to implement an eDelivery Service Metadata Publisher for publishing and retrieving data necessary for an eDelivery party to dynamically configure its system for message exchange with other parties using eDelivery. It is based on the eDelivery AS4 profile, an open technical specification for the secure, web-based, payload-agnostic exchange of data or documents. There are numerous other products and services currently conformant with the eDelivery AS4 1.15 profile. We invite projects to browse the full list before choosing their AS4 software.
