Vincles BCN is a new service provided by the Barcelona City Council Social Rights Area so we can keep in touch with our elderly people. The City Council will loan elderly people who use the service a tablet with the app installed and data communication.

The Vincles app is accessible and very intuitive, and it has been designed with elderly people in mind. It enables users to communicate and interact, through video calls and video or voice messages , with their family and friends as well as with elderly people belonging to the Vincles user group.

The user’s family and friends will have to download the Vincles app to their smartphone. It is available on Android and iOS. They will need Android 4.1 or a later version, or iOS 8 or a later version. To activate the app, the user will have to provide an access code to all those people who would like to be part of their family network.
