This Collection offers a comprehensive look at the evolving GovTech landscape - from tracking innovative initiatives and best practices in its implementation to providing reports and market studies. While it delivers also targeted insights for startups, its content is designed for anyone invested in the future of government technology.

Additionally, the Collection hosts the GovTech4All community and repository, a European Commission project that offers valuable resources and initiatives for both startups and public sector organisations.

Managed by the European Commission, EU GovTech is linked to the Public Sector Tech Watch (PSTW) project, to create a robust ecosystem for innovation. While PSTW primarily supports public sector leaders and academia with comprehensive analysis and insights, EU GovTech is more targeted towards startups and SMEs, to connect them with public sector partners and drive public sector digitisation.

The European Commission is hosting a webinar series on EU GovTech in April-May 2026 to strengthen collaboration between innovative tech providers and public administrations across the EU. The series will feature four online sessions: one introductory webinar presenting the latest findings from dedicated studies on key factors influencing GovTech practices, followed by three interactive ad hoc sessions shaped by the interests of GovTech innovators, public administrations, and stakeholders. The sessions will cover real-world use cases, key challenges, emerging technologies like AI, and best practices for public-private cooperation.
