Interoperable Europe Academy hosted its first ever workshop!

The objective of the Interoperable Europe Academy Workshop was to present the first section

Introductory course
s of Interoperability: An introductory course and collect valuable feedback from its audience. In total, the workshop gathered 65 participants and over 90 registrations. The audience members had different backgrounds, but most of them came from public administrations.

The workshop was an opportunity to gather valuable input from participants and finalise the course creation by tailoring the course to their needs. The input that was given was highly appreciated and taken into account by the IOP EU Academy team.

The agenda of the workshop was as follows:

  • Opening
  • Basics of Interoperability: Part 1
  • Q&A and Quiz
  • Basics of Interoperability: Part 2
  • Impressions and exhange
  • Closing

Miro introduction

During the workshop, the participants got the opportunity to interactively introduce themselves. In the different boards that are shown in the picture, the participants got to indicate where they were from, what their background is, what their relationship with interoperability is and of course, what they would like to see next from Interoperable Europe Academy. Take a look!

Video

All sections of the course include videos, so naturally when presenting the first two sections of the course, the videos were introduced to the audience. During the conversation that followed the demonstration of the sections, the audience admitted that they were very happy to see that there were videos included, as they gave a more 'human' and friendly note to the entire course.

After the first two sections of the introductory course were presented, the team hosted a short Quiz using another interactive tool. The audience got to answer questions based on the course, and deeply comprehend the correct answer from the explanations that the organisers provided.

The Interoperable Europe Academy Workshop was very fruitful. It hosted very interesting conversations that were triggered from the participants' questions regarding the 'Interoperability: An introductory course'. All comments and suggestions from the audience were taken into account and now the course can be finalised based on the needs of its audience!

End

The presentation of the workshop is available here.

The 'Interoperability: An introductory course' is now public and it can be accessed through this link. Anyone interested can take it, and obtain the Certificate of Completion, provided they pass the Quiz!

The Interoperable Europe Academy would like to thank all the participants and invite them to keep checking for updates and future events!
