XML2RDF is a generic tool, developed by the European Union Agency for Railways, that converts XML Schema (XSD) files into various RDF formats (SHACL, OWL, SKOS) with integrated validation capabilities.
XML2RDF (also known as XSD2RDF) is a generic tool to convert XML Schema (XSD) files into various RDF formats - SHACL, OWL and SKOS - with integrated validation capabilities. It supports the transition from XML-based schemas towards semantic, linked-data representations.
The tool was developed by the European Union Agency for Railways, in the same ecosystem as the ERA Ontology, and is published openly on GitLab. It is reusable by any organisation that needs to migrate or map XSD-based data models to RDF-based semantic assets.
It is released as open-source software, in line with the European Union Agency for Railways' open-source practice for its interoperable-data tooling.
It is released under the European Union Public Licence (EUPL 1.2).
