We are delighted to announce a major milestone for the SEMIC community: DCAT-AP and Core Vocabularies, two SEMIC assets, have been officially recognised by the Interoperable Europe Board as labelled solutions under the Interoperable Europe Act.
This recognition reaffirms the strategic role of SEMIC assets in enabling semantic interoperability across borders and sectors, making public sector data easier to discover and reuse. It reflects the collective effort of our community to drive interoperability and support the digital transformation of public services in Europe.
The decision was made during the Board’s third meeting in Brussels on 4 December 2025, alongside the adoption of the first Interoperable Europe Agenda and discussions on the Next Generation European Interoperability Framework. These developments mark a significant step towards building a more connected and interoperable Europe.
