New Solutions on the Portal
- Nine new Solutions were published in the EU Local Digital Twins (LDT) Toolbox Collection:
- AI Notebook: A unified environment within the EU LDT Toolbox for developing, testing, and executing artificial intelligence and machine learning models.
- Integrated Environment: A unified entry point of the EU LDT Toolbox, enabling cities to access and coordinate the different tools, services, and resources within a single ecosystem.
- Data Platform: An EU LDT Toolbox tool that allows connecting to a city's databases and sensors. It provides access to real-time and historical data for simulations and analyses.
- Play & Visualise: An integrated visual environment that brings together outputs from across the EU LDT Toolbox and represents them as interactive layers on 2D or 3D maps.
- Use Cases & Scenarios: A structured framework for defining urban challenges and exploring alternative Solutions through simulation.
- Data Modeller: A tool that enables cities and technical teams to generate and manage synthetic date to support simulation and predictive modelling within the EU LDT Toolbox, by simplifying the creation of data models and synthetic data generators.
- Federated Learning: A tool that coordinates model training across decentralised environments and is integrated with other EU LDT Toolbox components, to support privacy-preserving analytics, scalable computation, and interoperable AI workflows.
- Data Space Ready: A trusted and standardised framework for secure data sharing across organisations within the EU LDT Toolbox ecosystem.
- City Innovation Planner: A tool that supports municipalities in measuring, tracking, and improving their digital transformation journey through structured performance management.
- Three new Solutions were published in the Eurostat Collection:
- Euro SDMX Registry - Statistical Data and Metadata eXchange: An ISO standard designed to describe statistical data and metadata, normalise their exchange, and improve their efficient sharing across statistical and similar organisations.
- Single Integrated Metadata Structure (SIMS): A single reporting structure that combines and standardises the exchange of structural and reference metadata.
- REST API web services: A service that features standardised RESTful interface with support for multiple formats that allows performing customised queries to filter data by dimensions and accessing structural metadata to understand the underlying data definitions.

Event highlights
On 11 March 2026 the Portal Team held the webinar “Building interoperable public services: CAMSS and eu-LISA projects overview”. It hosted speakers from CAMSS and eu-LISA/e-CODEX, who presented their projects, shared valuable insights and explained how they contribute to building interoperable public services across Europe. Here you can access the event’s presentation and key insights.
Additionally, on 17 March 2026 the Portal Team conducted the session “Step-by-step: Content creation workshop on the Portal”, an interactive, hands-on session that guided participants through the content creation process on the Portal.
