ABOUT THE EVENT
EU LDT Toolbox is a European open-source infrastructure for interoperable Local Digital Twins — built by a consortium of six partners over three years, tested in real cities, and ready for adoption.
On 16–17 June in Valencia, the consortium will present the consolidated product to LDT CITIVERSE EDIC and the European ecosystem. This marks the beginning of a new phase: from development to adoption, with LDT CITIVERSE EDIC taking a central role in governance and growth. This is not a closing event. It is a launch.

How to get to Valencia
Valencia is accessible by air, land and sea. It boasts travel links to many major Spanish and European cities.
By taxi: Approximate cost €20.
By public transport:
Bus: Metrobus line 150. The stop is located in Terminal T1, Level 0, right outside the arrivals area and clearly signposted. This bus passes through Manises, Quart de Poblet, and Mislata before entering Valencia, where it stops at Ángel Guimerà, Mercat Central (Avenida del Oeste), and Av. Ramón y Cajal. The journey takes about 45 minutes, and the usual frequency is every 20–30 minutes. The service runs from 6:21 to 22:36, Monday to Saturday, and from 7:35 to 22:15 on Sundays.
Underground: Located on the ground floor (Level 0) of Valencia Airport. Follow the “Metrovalencia” signs from arrivals. Take Line 3 or 5 to Colón Metro Station (20–25 minutes, no transfers). Trains run every 10–15 minutes. Tickets cost around €4–6.
The city has two main railway stations:
- Estación del Norte, for local and regional trains.
- Joaquín Sorolla, for high-speed (AVE) and long-distance connections (ALIVIA and EUROMED) to Madrid, Barcelona, Cuenca, Seville and Córdoba.
For those travelling by car, Valencia is equipped with a modern motorway network making it easily accessible from any city on the mainland. These include the AP-7, which runs north to south along the Mediterranean coast connecting the city with Barcelona, and the A-3 running from Valencia to Madrid.

Day 1 focuses on: institutional framing, keynote, live product demonstration, pilot city experiences, standardisation roundtable and the vision for the future of EU LDT Toolbox.
Day 2 is dedicated to practical: workshops in parallel (one technical, one focused on adoption and implementation) plus optional one-to-one meetings with consortium partners.
On Day 1, the afternoon runs two streams: a main stage programme and interactive demo stations in parallel. On Day 2, attendees choose between Track A (technical: architecture, deployment, data integration) or Track B (adoption: implementation roadmap, governance, first steps).
Key sessions from Day 1 will be recorded and shared with all registered attendees after the event.
Yes. Day 1 includes networking drinks at the venue (17:15–19:00) and an optional guided walk through Valencia's historic centre (19:00–20:00). An official dinner follows by invitation. These activities require separate registration.
Roig Arena in Valencia, Spain. The venue is well connected by public transport and a short ride from Valencia Airport (VLC).
Valencia Airport (VLC) has direct connections to major European cities including Brussels, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome. From the airport, the city centre is 15 minutes by taxi or reachable via metro lines 3 and 5.
Smart casual or business attire. Valencia in June is warm (25–30°C), so dress accordingly.
