GovWay is a mature, open-source interoperability (API) gateway developed by Link.it to enable both public and private organisations to manage secure, scalable and standards-based data-exchange infrastructures. Building on the experience of the OpenSPCoop project and the Italian "Porta di Dominio", it is aligned with European interoperability frameworks and is ready to support Member States in implementing cross-border digital public services. 

Initially developed in Italy, GovWay has been adopted in mission-critical national infrastructures - including the National Population Register (ANPR), the National Social Security Institute and the National Electronic Health Record - demonstrating its reliability and scalability at large scale.
