The Committee on Data for Science and Technology (CODATA), together with the Wolrd Data System (WDS) are organising the "Virtual SciDataCon 2021" conference.

The Virtual SciDataCon 2021 will run a series of significant and time sensitive sessions from the 18th to 28th of October 2021, covering a wide range of data subjects among which:

• FAIR: interoperability and reusability
• Policy Implementation (Open Science and FAIR)
• Data Skills
• Data Centres and Repositories
• Global Open Science Clouds, Platforms and Commons
• Data for the Sustainable Development Goals and Disaster Risk Reduction
• Data in Cross-Domain Research
• Data in the Earth Sciences, etc.
